Ingredients:
- Chicken Breast or Thighs 6pc. (Can be substituted with fish, Mahi Mahi is a good alternative)
- 2 Egg Lightly Beaten
- 3/4 Cup Italian Breadcrumbs (Can be substituted with Panko Breadcrumbs or other flavors)
- 1 Tsp. Garlic Salt (Can be substituted for plain salt, and adjusted to taste)
- 1/2 Tsp. Pepper (Can be adjusted to taste)
- 1/2 Tsp. Oregano (Be creative use your favorite spices, fresh or dried)
- 4 Tbsp. Olive Oil (Can be substituted or used in combination with Butter, or Grapeseed oil)
- 1 Lemon (San be substituted with your favorite sauce or salad dressing, ex. Mae Ploy, sweet Thai chili sauce)
- Rinse and pat dry chicken breast or thighs
- Mix breadcrumbs, garlic salt/salt, pepper, oregano/spices
- Dip chicken into egg mixture and then in breadcrumb mixture
- Heat olive oil in 12" skillet over medium heat
- Brown chicken and when flipping squeeze lemon juice (or your favorite sauce) over browned chicken
It sounds delicious!! I also love how simple it sounds to make. Since I am picky eater, the more simple the food is the more I will usually love it. I am going to try this recipe out later when I have some time.

ReplyDeleteThis recipe looks so 'ono! I love chicken and fish and with it being crusted in panko is one of my favorite ways to prepare crispy chicken or fish (since it's not as unhealthy as deep frying). This also looks like a light dish so it's not too overwhelming. I will definitely be trying this one out!

Great sounding recipe, I love chicken but after a while it can get boring once I run out of different way to prepare it. The finished product looks great and i'm looking forward to preparing it myself!
